Add candidates

Add candidates via CSV

  1. To add candidates, click the large circle ADD PLAYERS.

  2. To upload candidate details via a CSV file scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the choose file option underneath Players.

  3. Please ensure that your file format is identical to the example format provided on the page.

  4. Once you have selected the appropriate file from your documents, click UPLOAD.

Add candidates manually

  1. From the programme dashboard select ADD PLAYERS.

  2. Select ADD PLAYER MANUALLY.

  3. Enter the candidate’s first name, last name and email address.

  4. Click CREATE.

  5. A summary of the candidate’s name, player key and email will appear. Please double check that this information is correct.

Send play invitations

  1. After adding candidates, you will automatically be taken through to the invitation section.

  2. A preview of the invitation email can be viewed by selecting the drop-down menu icon located to the right of the SEND INVITATION.

  3. You may also choose to send a copy of the email to yourself under this menu.

  4. Invite the candidate to play by clicking SEND INVITATION.

Further email preferences can be found in the programme dashboard. The large circles named email reminder and email invitation can be used to send out invitations and reminders via one click. However, scrolling further down the dashboard you can choose to customize your invitation email, reminder email and feedback report email.

Message customisation

  1. From the programme dashboard scroll down to the Emails section.

  2. Click on the type of email you want to customise.

  3. Click Edit in the top right corner.

  4. A rich-text editor will appear so you can make your changes.

  5. Click the UPDATE button to finalize your changes.

View candidate list

  1. From the programme dashboard select the large circle named VIEW PLAYERS.

  2. Candidates are arranged in alphabetical order along with email invitation and reminder status.

  3. To view more candidates per page, click the “VIEW” drop-down box in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

  4. To edit candidate information, click the EDIT button on the right hand side.

  5. Candidates can be filtered based on completion by selecting the Not Started, In Progress and Complete buttons.

  6. You can search for specific candidates based on name, email and player key using the search box.

View individual results

  1. From the programme dashboard select the large circle named VIEW PLAYERS.

  2. Search for the candidate via name, email, player key by typing information into the search box and clicking the magnifying glass.

  3. Once identified, click the blue player ID.

  4. You will be taken through to a new page. The player key, client supported ID and gender will be at the top of the page.

  5. Click the large button titled CALCULATE PSYCHOMETRIC SCORES.

  6. You will see the candidate’s normalised personality scores for each trait measured in gameplay.

  7. The black line at zero represents the standardized average score for the traits in the norm group.

  8. Moving the cursor over each bar will reveal how many standard deviations the candidate is away from the mean score i.e. how much the candidate deviates from the average (set at 0) e.g. (Motivation: -0.51 SDs) or (Risk Propensity: +0.85 SDS).

Reset candidate data

  1. From the programme dashboard select the large circle named VIEW PLAYERS.

  2. Search for the candidate via name, email, player key by typing information into the search box and clicking the magnifying glass.

  3. Once identified, click the blue player ID.

  4. You will be taken through to a new page. The player key, client supported ID and gender will be at the top of the page.

  5. Scroll down to the section headed Games.

  6. Here you should see the game completed (e.g. Firefly Freedom), the candidates progress (e.g. not started, in progress, completed) and the raw stats gathered from gameplay (e.g. 356 fireflies caught).

  7. The last column on the right is titled Reset Player Data.

  8. Click the red Reset button. Note: this cannot be undone.

View candidate History

  1. From the programme dashboard select the large circle named VIEW PLAYERS

  2. Search for the candidate via name, email, player key by typing information into the search box and clicking the magnifying glass

  3. Once identified, click the blue player ID

  4. You will be taken through to a new page. The player key, client supported ID and gender will be at the top of the page

  5. Scroll down to the section headed “Player History”

  6. Here you can see the player’s actions (e.g. levels completed) organises by date and time

Reports

Email reports to individuals

  1. From the programme dashboard select the large circle named VIEW PLAYERS

  2. Search for the candidate via name, email, player key by typing information into the search box and clicking the magnifying glass

  3. Once identified, click the blue player ID

  4. You will be taken through to a new page. The player key, client supported ID and gender will be at the top of the page

  5. EMAIL REPORT TO PLAYER can be found directly below the candidate’s personality profile

  6. Clicking this will automatically send a tailored psychometric profile report.

Download individual reports

  1. From the programme dashboard select the large circle named VIEW PLAYERS

  2. Search for the candidate via name, email, player key by typing information into the search box and clicking the magnifying glass

  3. Once identified, click the blue player ID

  4. You will be taken through to a new page. The player key, client supported ID and gender will be at the top of the page

  5. DOWNLOAD REPORT can be found directly below the candidate’s graphical personality profile.

  6. Clicking this will automatically download the candidate’s tailored psychometric profile report.

Selection

View normed results for all candidates

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the programme dashboard

  2. Under the “Results” section select “See results”

  3. You will see the graphical distribution of candidate trait scores

Select candidates from normed results

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the programme dashboard

  2. Under the “Selection” section click “Start Selection.”

  3. You will see a graphical distribution of scores per trait

  4. Scroll up and down to find your desired trait

  5. Within the trait bar chart, find the lightly shaded grey rectangle with two semi-circles either side of it.

  6. Click and drag the semi-circle to select range of Standard Deviations (DV) for your inclusion criteria.

  7. The bars/columns selected will be highlighted in green. The number inside the bars represented the frequency of candidates within this normalised score range.

  8. Once you are happy with your selection you can either export information for candidates that WILL NOT be selected or export information for candidates that WILL be selected by clicking the appropriate button.

  9. Repeat this process for the remaining traits.
